Club And Discord Server Rules

There is no tolerance for discrimination or harassment. CCSF Physics Club is an inclusive community of students and faculty of diverse backgrounds. Racism, anti-Blackness, xenophobia, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, and/or classicism is unacceptable and will result in an immediate dismissal from the club.
Refrain from making broad statements or generalizations to avoid the spread of misinformation. We ask that you speak from your personal experiences and use citations when possible.
Keep all conversation school-appropriate, there shall be no content that is sexually explicit or expresses harm. This is defined by pornographic or violent imagery as well as graphic language. Use best judgment when speaking with peers, club officers, faculty, and administration. Club officers and faculty are liable for behaviors that go against CCSF standards for student conduct.
Share thoughtful feedback and give your peers the benefit of the doubt in discussion. Assume the best of fellow students, ask for clarifications, and keep discussions in good faith.
No use or promotion of generative AI tools. Using these falls under academic and intellectual dishonesty. Any screenshots using AI tools (such as ChatGPT) or messages encouraging others will either be deleted or will be met with a warning.
Discord Nitro features are prohibited. To keep the server equitable, toggle off functions that require Nitro membership.
